Can You Out Exercise A Bad Diet?

No, you cannot out exercise a bad diet. Besides, what kind of results would you get if you ate constantly unhealthy and didn’t exercise? You wouldn’t have a low body fat percentage with lean muscle mass. Don’t get me wrong, there are people who can eat unhealthy, not exercise and still look thin but they may not be totally healthy.

It’s important to give your muscles the proper fuel to grow at their capacity. It’s also important to have the right combination of lean food consumption coupled with exercise. Athletes, fitness competitors and swimsuit models don’t achieve lean bodies by eating poorly and exercising to make up for it. They spend quality time in the kitchen to fuel their body from the intense exercise.

With that being said, you cannot out exercise a bad diet. Just do yourself a favor and have a cheat meal once a week {set a cheat meal goal}  and add new activity to your schedule. Walk your dog more, dedicate 15 minutes a day to yoga, etc. and you’ll be feeling lean in no time. Remember, lean and clean is the way to go!

Stay healthy,
Jenn

  1. This is so so so true! I don’t know how long it will take people to finally understand this that diet is 80 percent of the battle to maintain a healthy body, no amount of cardio or weights in the world will give you your ideal figure if you diet is out of waco, and at the very least you will end up skinny fat because you won’t have the building blocks to hold onto or create muscles! Thanks so much for sharing valuable knowledge!
