Losing weight can be hard but with the right combination of eating healthy and exercise, you can do it! The question I get so often is, “What is the quickest way to lose weight.” Before answering the question, I’ll ask about their diet and what they do to spend their calories.
It’s not rocket science that in order to lose weight you have to eat healthy and exercise. However, creating healthy habits and saying “no” to bad habits is (in my opinion) rocket science. Sure, while you’re reading this you can say, “this week I won’t have any sweets.” …& by Wednesday, you’re craving chocolate. Once Friday strolls along, you tell yourself you’ll have 1 piece of chocolate and before you know it you’ve eaten Willy Wonka and his chocolate factory.
Here’s the deal…. the best way to lose weight is to set small habit changing goals for yourself. For example, start by planning what meals you’re going to eat for the week. Create a little menu and stick it on the fridge. This gives you (& those you cook for) something to look forward too. When you stick to your plan for one week then reward yourself with a small gift (preferably, not food related!).
Remind yourself why you’re eating healthy and exercising…. to lose weight & to be healthy! It takes time to see changes but if you stick to eating healthy with moderate exercise… you’re golden!
