Healthy Asian Sauce!

Sauces are everything when it comes to a good meal. A lot of the times sauces can be fatty and can totally negate a healthy meal. When I first started my health kick I started to pay a lot of attention to the sauces I was using. I found a lot of extra fat, sugar and sodium and so many of my dressings and sauces.

So, I started to make my own sauces for my meals. This one was used in an Asian inspired dish which was zucchini noodles and chicken fried rice. The zucchini noodles were two medium sized zucchinis spiraled to make a ‘noodle’. The fried rice was 1/2 a cup of brown rice that was already cooked but added to a skillet with 3 egg whites. I scrambled them all together and boom, fried rice {well kinda fried rice… much more of a healthier version}.

To top off my meal, I whipped up this sauce. I used a serving size of the Kraft Asian Toasted Sesame Dressing {2 tablespoon}, 1 teaspoon of low sodium soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of Braggs apple cider vinegar. I mixed it all together and drizzled it on top of my noodles and rice. It was tasty and guilt free!

Give it a shot and tell me what you think!

Keep it saucy,
Jenn
